1. Prevents waste of cold water in the pipe that connects to the solar water heater (when the weather is cold, the user must let out the cold water in the pipes because solar heated water has not yet reached the shower, causing water resource waste).

2. Normally when solar heated water is exhausted, auxiliary electric heating pipes are used for heating. However, because the heating power and thermal efficiency is low, cold water cannot be heated effectively. The user can only wait for the cold water to heat up, which wastes time.

3. Because auxiliary heating devices heat water slowly, they are often used with a timer device. Often times, the user has already left the shower but the timer device has not shutoff, and the water continues to be heated until the set temperature has been reached. When the beautiful sun appears the next morning, the electric heating of the previous night will appear to be a complete waste of money. In addition, excessive water temperature can cause scale deposits that affect the life of solar water heater. Sometimes, shower time is delayed by going outside or arrival of guests, and the user ends up with cold water because the timer device has shut off and hot water has turned cold. These situations all show that heater devices are not sufficiently humanized.

4. Tayjyi applies the principle of tayjyiquan, and uses a small electrically controlled solenoid valve to operate hot water flow. This eliminates waste from auxiliary electric heating systems.

5. Tayjyi is matched with a gas water heater with the highest heating power. Tayjyi is also installed on the outdoor balcony nearest to the use end. This way when the user enters the shower and starts using hot water, cold water in the pipe will go through the gas water heater and be rapidly heated. This hot water reaches the shower very fast and prevents waste of cold water.

6. When the hot water in the solar water heater storage tank reaches Tayjyi, the system will switch water pathways according to the user’s temperature setting. Sufficiently heated water enters the shower directly and no longer passes through the gas water heater. The gas water heater also automatically stops heating because the water has been cut off. If the weather is cloudy or rainy and the solar heated water cannot reach the temperature that satisfy user need, then gas water heater is used as an auxiliary to continue heat up the water; thus, preventing the user from being drenched in cold water.

7. When higher quantities of hot water are required and the hot water in the solar heating storage tank has been depleted, water temperature will rapidly decrease. When Tayjyi detects that the water temperature in the pipe has fallen below the set temperature, it will switch the water to pass through the gas water heater and continue using the gas water heater for heating. This way the user will not be washing with cold water.

8. The objective of designing Tayjyi is to prevent unnecessary waste and produce a truly environmentally friendly and energy saving product.

9. We recommend matching Tayjyi with a constant temperature type gas water heater. Using gas saves energy and the water temperature is more comfortable.

10. All the piping for Tayjyi uses copper or stainless steel products, is of high quality, has a long usable life, and truly conforms to European Union’s environmental conservation and recycle/reuse requirements.

Environmentally Friendly, Saves energy, and Convenient

To improve environmental friendliness and energy saving for consumer, Tayjyi also promotes a matching accessory; the Tayjyi Mate remote control. Consumer can easily control the Tayjyi flow controller (installed on an outside balcony) from indoors through wireless transmission. This enables users to change the set temperature according to personal preference, force activate the solenoid valve and switch to a more energy saving mode, or to force shutoff the solenoid valve to save even more. When not using hot water, the display can be used as a reference for outdoor temperature or as a small, convenient electronic clock.
